A Peek at fr. Ambroise’s Garden - Summer 2023

Did you know that Father Ambroise maintains a garden in the backyard of the rectory? In it he grows tomatoes, squash and basil as well as Amarantes, also known as Lenga Lenga, and African Oseilles or Ngay-Ngay, a much loved vegetable that is grown and eaten by many, especially in his native country of Congo. The garden also includes rudbeckia, golden rod and blazing star to help attract pollinating insects. Father Ambroise is seen with parishioner Brendan Oliver who helped him with the garden this summer.
